Step 1. Go to your DealerWeb dashboard and scroll down to the bottom.   Do you see this?

If yes, then you do not need to do anything.

Step 2: If no then select Google Analytics from your left Menu in your Dashboard. Make sure you have already set up your Google Analytics account before continuing. If you haven't, click here to learn more. Once you have Google Analytics set up, log into the account.

Step 3: Do you see this?

  • If yes and you would like to see the Google Analytics dashboard on your DealerWeb Dashboard, then select the first option – Google Authentication code. You should already be logged into your Google Analytics account. If you see a red link at the bottom that says deauthorize and reset Google Analytics, you will need to click on that to deauthorize and reset the Google Analytics. Once you have clicked on that, it will reset your website.
  • Select click here, underneath Google Authentication Code. You will then be prompted to choose a Google Analytics account. Choose the account and click allow. You will then be given a code, which you need to copy. Enter your Google Authentication Code in the box provided, and then click save and continue.
  • Enable Google Analytics again, and choose the account that you want to connect. Click save. You are now connected to Google Analytics! See video in step five for a walk through on these options.
  • If you would rather view Google Analytics information within Google Analytics and not have the summary on your DealerWeb dashboard, then select the second option – I Don’t Want to Authenticate through Google.

Step 4: If your Google Analytics screen looks like this, then scroll down to the bottom.

Step 5: If you have a red error message, then follow the instructions in this video.

Step 6: If you don’t have a red error message, then everything is fine and you do not need to do anything else.

Once you follow the steps for the above scenarios, your Google Analytics should be reconnected to your site.  And if you chose the option to display the Google Analytics summary on your dashboard, it should now be there.  It might take a couple seconds for the content to display.
