To change the destination page of the links at the top level navigation, you can create a new menu item.
To do this...
- Login to your Dealerweb Dashboard
- Click on Appearance
-
Click on Menus
- Make sure you're on the "main menu" tab located at the top of this page
- You'll see your current menu options already there (for example, Company, Services, etc) and when you expand these menu items, it shows you what page it is currently using. If the url a menu item is using is not one that you would like, you'll need to replace that menu item with a new one that uses the correct page. The next steps will explain how to do this.
Scroll down to the "Pages" sidebar located on the left. (this is only seen when you're on the MENUS page, so please make sure you are in Menus, which is located under Appearance)
Find the page in the list that you would like to add. For example "Company" or "Vision," and click on that, then click the "add to menu" button.
- You'll see it will have added the page you selected to your menu (it will appear at the bottom of the current menus list). Now you can change the name of this menu item by expanding it. For example, if you created the item using Vision as the page, but you want it to say Company, you can type in Company here.
Now just drag and drop this to where you would like it to be and "remove" the old version that was pointing to the wrong page.
Once you have your navigation as you like it, save your changes.
