Dashboard Overview
The Dashboard (dealer.dealerwebadmin.com/wp-admin) is the first screen you see when you log into the administrative view of your DealerWeb site.
The main idea of the dashboard is to give you a place where you can get an at-a-glance overview of what’s happening with your site. You can catch up on the latest announcements, access quick links to the various parts of your site, and a glance of your latest Google Analytics data (must be turned on). It’s like a bird’s eye view of operations, from which you can swoop down into the particular details.
It is important to note that you must log into the administrative view of your website using the Google Chrome browser.
Navigation Toolbar
Located on across the top of the admin view of your site is a black navigation toolbar with important buttons to help you easily navigate through the backend of your site. They include:
- + New (Quickly create new pages, events, users, and more )
- Clear Cache
- Events (Easy way to access event settings)
- Support (Takes you direct to the DealerWeb support website to log an issue, check the status of a ticket, and view help guides)
Located on the left of your Dashboard are Sidebar Panels that contain the different sections of your website that can be modified. Clicking on of the sidebar panel sections will expand the section to make sub-panel options available.
